BRISBANE MARRIAGE CELEBRANT
Who Can Marry?
Current Australian Law states that only a man and a woman can be joined in Marriage, however this may be changed in the near future, with moves underway to legalise same-sex marriages.

If you are over the age of 18, you are legally entitled to marry. If you are younger, you will need to have the written permission of your parents/guardians, as well as the Court.

Couples of the same sex can not at present be legally married, but they can arrange a Commitment Ceremony, where they openly declare their love for each other in front of family and friends.
